| Question Number 1: Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the following information for each hospital site within your trust Regarding your Holter monitor devices: 鈥� What is the approximate cost per Holter monitor and associated service or maintenance fees? 鈥� How much do you pay for analysis software per license? 鈥� Approximately how many tests do you perform per year using these monitors? 鈥� What is the current waiting time (in weeks) for Holter monitor fitting? 鈥� Do you currently experience a backlog in analysis? If so, how many tests are pending? | |
| Answer To Question 1: Response from Stroke: 4 x Novacor monitors on the Stroke Unit with associated hardware. Maintenance/Service Contract set up for 3 years at a cost of 35,007.45 exc. VAT. Response from Cardiology: 鈥� Approximate cost per holter - 拢18,000 鈥� Analysis software - 拢27000 鈥� ~4400 tests per year 鈥� ~10 weeks 鈥� Yes we experience a backlog. 170 tests currently waiting | |
