| Question Number 1: I am writing to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please provide details of all menopause services currently available at your trust for patients experiencing treatment‑induced or cancer‑related menopause. Please include service names, whether they are cancer‑specific, and any referral pathways. | |
| Answer To Question 1: The Trust have 3 clinicians who regularly run a Menopause clinic. The Trust (Menopause Clinic) receive patients referred internally from Clinical Nurse Specialist ( CNS). The Trust (Menopause Clinic) receive referrals from GPs when patients have historical cancers. Some referrals are directly to the operating surgeon from the GP bypassing Menopause clinic. Many of our cancer referrals, from within the Trust come from different departments such as head and neck. The Trust (Menopause Clinic) also receive referrals from our Oncology department. The Trust (Menopause Clinic) receive referrals from outside of the Trust and cover most of the South West as well as further afield. SFT also refer on to Poole (and historically Chelsea and Westminster) if we have absorption issues for implants also To accompany this answer to question 1 please also see the documents listed below: | |
