Does your trust charge staff to park in its car parks?
 
Answer To Question 1:
No charge is made to park a motorcycle or scooter
No car park charges are made to staff who park a car on site, if they display a valid blue badge.
No charges are made between 19:30hrs - 08:00hrs
Car park charges apply to staff between 08:00hrs - 19:30hrs

 
Question Number 2:
What does a month’s parking cost for a band 5 registered nurse (top step point) on a full-time contract at your trust if they have permit? If it is different at different sites, please specify.
 
Answer To Question 2:
£29.72 if they are based on site and £5.12 per month, if they are a community nurse.
 
Question Number 3:
What does a day’s parking cost for a band 5 registered nurse (top step point) at your trust if they do not have a permit?
 
Answer To Question 3:
If a member of staff does not have a monthly parking permit, they may request a daily parking permit at a cost of £2.05 per day.
If a member of staff does not have any permit to park, they would be required to pay the visitors parking tariff, as follows:

0-30 min - FREE
31 min - 1hour - £2.00
2 hours - £2.70
4 hours - £4.50
6 hours - £6.50
Max daily charge (24 hours) - £8.00
 
Question Number 4:
Are permits available for all staff who want them?
 
Answer To Question 4:
No.
Staff permits are not available for staff who live within 1.5 miles of the hospital and who only ever work between 07:30 and 19:30hrs, unless they hold a valid Blue Badge, other exemptions to the exclusion zone apply.
The parking exclusion zone does not apply on weekends or on (English) Bank Holidays.
