Request Summary: Use of forced tranquilisation on mental health patients
Request Category: Health
| Question Number 1: Using the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am writing to request data on the total number of instances of forced tranquilisation for the restraint of mental health patients in emergency departments in your trust each month, from the most recent month you have data for this, to as far back as records go. | |
| Answer To Question 1: After clarification from requestor as per the following - Forced tranquilisation is not something that is done. Rapid tranquilisation for behavioural disturbance is something we do. Is this something you would be interested in? Their response - Yes this is something we would be very interested in having the data for. The data suggested is as follows - 2021 - Less than 5 2022 - Less than 5 2023 - 5 2024 - 6 2025 - 8 2026 - Less than 5 | |
