| Question Number 1: Can I please request the following information via freedom of information request over the "plan limit" set by NHS England for the 2026-27, 2027-28 and 2028-29 financial years for the trust. This is also known as the deficit limit or control total in annual planning cycles. 1. The financial plan limit for 2026-27 2. The financial plan limit for 2027-28 3. The financial plan limit for 2028-29 I understand that the final plan will be subject to negotiation. But I do not believe release of this information will negatively impact negotiations or policy decisions. The "plan limit" is known by NHS trusts and NHSE, and has even been published by some in board papers. Release would be in line with transparency expected by public sector organisations. | |
