
Diana Rae was elected as Public Governor for the South Wiltshire Rural constituency, commencing her first term of office on 1 June 2026.
Diana moved to Wiltshire from Bristol in 2017 and brings more than 40 years of nursing experience to the role. After qualifying at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, in 1983, she worked across a variety of healthcare settings including cardiology, community nursing, hospice care and cancer services. Most recently, Diana worked as a Cancer Treatment Nurse at Salisbury and Yeovil Hospitals before retiring in December 2025.
Throughout her career, Diana has been committed to delivering high-quality patient care and supporting patients and their families. Having retired from nursing while working at Salisbury Hospital, she remains passionate about supporting SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ and the communities it serves.
As a Governor, Diana is committed to representing the views of patients, members and the wider public, ensuring local voices are heard and reflected in the development and future direction of the Trust.
