Blood Tests

To improve patient experience and reduce waiting times, Salisbury Hospital is changing the way it provides GP requested blood tests through our Pathology Department.

From Monday 10th August 2026, patients must book an appointment online.

The is available to use now.

There will no longer be a walk-in service for GP requested blood tests.

Alternatively, you can arrange to have your blood test at your GP Surgery or at the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in Salisbury City Centre – .

Please note: Outpatients and those with a Blood Passport do not need to book.

The online booking system will:

  • reduce waiting times
  • enable you to choose a date, time, and location that suits you
  • provide a better patient experience. Ìý
